Automated Testing in CI/CD

It follows the guidelines of Continuous Integration and truly protects the quality of the program through automated testing. This is because testing has always been the bottleneck while development velocity has increased, and test teams with manual testing are always experiencing slow release cycles.

Test Report on Dashboard

Import test reports that an agile dashboard provides better visibility into bugs and specs traceability for PM, RD, and Test. That helps us to discuss the issue and find the bugs.

Autotest Environment for I/O product

The number of possible arrangements of I/O products is large, so without the autotest environment, the software tester needs to change hardware settings everytime when changing to the next testcase. Building an autotest environment for functional tests will save a lot of time and make it possible to execute testcases even when the software tester is not near the device.

MOXA hackathon - Aladdin project

Because of the wide variety of products in the company, customers are at a loss when making a choice, for it is difficult to read descriptions of all the products before finding their own suitable products. We referenced a game called Akinator that we had played before and made a wishing platform, where as long as a user has access to the way of making a wish, he/she can find the most suitable product.

Master’s thesis: Design of a lower limb exoskeleton for walking aids

The study designed a lower limb exoskeleton robotic system (BimeExo), mainly used in simulating gait to assist human walking.

MediaTek Inc Mobileheros Competition

Augmented reality(AR) gloves were designed for mediatek competition. With a simple gesture, it can help us to control the infrared devices, such as TVs, VCRs, Stereos, Air Conditioners.

The 9th Utechzone Machine Vision Competition

Awarded the 2nd prize and got the highest score in the lost object detection event. The system could help to find lost objects from an airport, train station, hotel and more other places.

Bachelor’s thesis: Insole foot plantar pressure measurement system

The pressure sensor in the system can be used as a real-time monitoring system to collect data for gait analysis. Gait analysis can be used to identify differences between swing phases and stance phase.

Taipei Zoo Panda Robot

A panda cub robot was designed to help the mother panda to learn how to feed. Because the cub got hurt when it was born, the doctor needed to cure the cub immediately and decided to separate the mom and the baby for some time. But if the mother panda couldn’t see her cub around, she would feel very sad. That was why a Panda Robot was needed and will be needed when similar occasions arise in the future.

Integrated aquaponic system

The definition of aquaponics is farming fish and growing vegetables together in the same place. The waste from the fish will become fertilizers for the plants, and in turn the fish will eat the plants for foods. That’s the Nitrogen cycle. The integrated aquaponic system project provides MVP with the idea of combining the plant factory with aquaculture automation.

SHIN KONG SECURITY Robot Competition

A home security robot with image processing and localization algorithm was designed to detect the presence of a thief and make a video recording of the intruder.

The 4th Field Robot Competition

The robot has the ability to recognize objects and catch them with the robotic arm. PID controller algorithm has been implemented to improve the dynamic performance in the wall following.

The 3rd Field Robot Competition

The robot tank, which had ultrasonic sensors in the side to help it avoid collisions, was designed to accommodate off-road conditions.
